Terms of sale
Plain-language terms for shopping with Infuse3D.
Prices and payment
All prices are in South African Rand. Infuse3D is not registered for VAT; prices shown are final and no VAT is charged or shown. Payment is processed securely by Paystack — we never see or store your card details. Your order is confirmed when payment is received.
Made-to-order and design proofs
Everything we sell is printed to order. For personalised items we send a design proof (normally by email) before printing; production starts once you approve it, and the approved proof defines what we make. Please check spelling, names and colours at proof stage. Typical production is 3–5 business days from order or proof approval; larger custom work gets its own timeline in the quote.
Quotes
Custom-order quotes are free, normally sent within 24 hours, and valid for 14 days. A quote becomes an order when you accept it and payment (or an agreed deposit) is made.
Delivery, returns and cancellations
Delivery options and fees are set out on the Delivery & collection page and shown at checkout before you pay. Returns and refunds are governed by our Returns policy. Orders for personalised items can be cancelled for a full refund any time before you approve the design proof; after approval, production has started and the returns policy applies.
What a 3D print looks like up close
Fine layer lines, tiny variations in finish, and slight colour differences between filament batches are normal characteristics of 3D printing rather than faults — it’s how the process works, and part of what makes each piece handmade. We hand-check and finish every item before it ships. If something looks wrong rather than simply handmade, tell us and we’ll put it right.
Suitability and intended use
Where you supply the design or specify the item, deciding whether it suits your intended use is yours — dimensions, tolerances, strength and whether the material fits the job. Ask us if you’re unsure and we’ll advise gladly, but the final call is yours. Where we design the item for you, we’re responsible for it matching the brief and the proof you approved.
3D-printed parts are not certified for structural, load-bearing, medical, automotive or other safety-critical use unless we’ve agreed that in writing. We’re not liable for loss or damage arising from using an item outside what it was made for, from faults in a design supplied to us, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in this paragraph limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
Intellectual property and your designs
By sending us a design, logo or artwork to print, you confirm you have the right to use it, and you give us permission to reproduce it solely to fulfil your order. We may photograph finished work for our portfolio and social media unless you ask us not to — just say so when ordering. We don’t print content that infringes trademarks or copyrights we’re aware of, and we may decline jobs on that basis.
General
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act. These terms are governed by South African law. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms; the version on this page at the time of your order is the one that applies to it.
